6 Things You Must Learn To Do Now

1. Make money on your own

Make money on your own? What do I mean by this? Nowadays everything we do revolves around our jobs and a steady paycheck. If you don't have a job, society tends to treat you as a nobody. We as people need to learn how to create income in some form or fashion for ourselves. Whether it be fixing computers for family or friends, or it could be as simple as offering foreign language lessons to young kids if you speak another language. The economy can turn you into a human piƱata if we cant fend for ourselves during times of high unemployment.

2. Learn how to talk to people

This is a tough one if you are already feeling bitter toward the world or people in general. Lets face it most people are not as dumb as we make them out to be (notice I said most). And most folks can tell when you are genuine or just plain faking. If we are in a situation where we feel angry, depressed, anxious, jealous or all of the above, then it's probably best we don't deal with people at that particular time. If we are put in a situation in which we have to speak, its best to be honest about how we are feeling, which brings to my next point.

Be honest about how you are feeling with people. Chances are they will understand. If they don't, then that's also OK. You will feel better having a clear conscience then to have all these deadly emotions bottled up inside you.

3. Accept the things you cant change

Some people will just be rude, some will just be overly nice, some will always be nonchalant about there lives. Someday you will be late to work and your boss will act like the world is coming to an end. Someday you will show up early and not get any credit for it. Sometimes people will try to ridicule you on purpose to fill the hole of their insecurity donut (I just made that up, but it sounded good in my head). My point is focus on the things you can change which is you.

4. Be at peace with yourself

The best way I think to do this is to first stop beaten yourself up over things that happened in the past. Nobody's perfect (yes including celebrities) and honestly it should be pretty liberating just to know that. So what you didn't go to college right away, or you did go to college but you didn't pick the right major. So what if you didn't get married soon enough or you got married to soon, or you didn't have any kids or now you have too many kids. This list can go on and on as you can imagine. Once you realize that you have some many things you can be proud of, you can start to make peace with yourself.

5. Not be overly sensitive

If you take everything that happens to you personal, then I'm sorry to say you are a human pouching bag. And if you spend 8 hours or more outside of your house, you probably get punch about 5-10 times a day. (depending on the city you live in of course). It's best if we spend some time analyzing what makes us feel hurt inside and then finding a way to protect it from being exposed on a daily basis. (this goes for men as well as women) This problem usually subsides through the improvement of self confidence. If we finds our strengths and focus on them more than our weaknesses, it can act as a shield that will help deflect a persons attempt to belittle us.

6. Roll with the punches

All this means is that life will try to catch you off guard sometimes. If your not careful it will pull the rug right under you. So if this happens to you need to be prepared to maintain a positive attitude. You need to remind yourself that if will get better and to keep moving forward.

I'm a pretty easy going guy that loves computers and Self Development. I'm a Army Veteran so I have been all around the world. (well halfway at least) I use to produce music on the computer as a hobby, but now I focus on Personal Growth and helping others be the best they can be. I have a brand new Self Improvement website with a whole new look and feel you should take a look at.
